Max quickly joined in, turning this solo into a duet.

It's frightening
But dare I say it

[Jodi]

I'll take the stage,

Jodi snapped out from her romantic musical daze and burst through the double doors, with an eager Max, a soft-shoeing Sawyer, and an angry Cori following her.

"Everybody, Up on your feet!
Let's get this started with a funky beat!"

[Sawyer]

There's a fire in the floor
I can feel it through my fur
There's a rumbling in my chest
My song comes like a purr...

The elegant cat chaneigh turned across the floor and pulled some people from their chairs.

[Max]

Who knew your valet had such a groovy beat
Who knows what fire lies inside of those feet
If we're up and dancing who could ask for more
Now stand up and spread out
That's what we're here fooooooooorrrrr...

[Allison]

You can't make me
I won't do it
This show is fine
Without us singing through it

Allison grabbed her throat before realizing what it must be. A curse!

[Sawyer]

This obviously is your first time here
It's the same show every night
So let us have our moment of fun
Why must everyone put up a fight?

[Cori]

the floor's on fire
that may be
but that's one fire
that wont spread to me

Cori crossed her arms and glarred at everyone as if darring them to test her resolve

a song with a beat
is all fine and sweet
but nothing can convince me
to start moving my feet

[Jodi]

Stick in the mud
This is what we've been preachin'
Have you listened at all
To our coolness teachin'

Jodi sang grabbing her friend and turning her to face her.

We don't do that
Just to hear ourselves talk
Well maybe Crawl...
But that's not much of a shock

Please just once
Give FUN a try
Let the music take hold
Let that singer spread her wings
AND FLY!

[Cori]

I dont know how to move
I dont know how to groove
I'm hopless at this
I think I'll give it a miss

Thanks for the teachings
I do listen to the preachings
but there are certan things I just dont do

think of it this way
oh what should I say
Would some one ask quantum phisics of you?

[Jodi]

"Oh,
You've got a point
But besides that?
We've got moves to appoint."

Jodi took the girl and spun her around, surprisingly the other girl kept her balance.

"This curse seems much better
Than you or I thought
Instead of just singing
It fixes dances that are usually
A not.

[Cori]

Cori jumped back, or more acuratly tried to jump back, but found herself doing a backflip.
WOW!
Did everyone see that,
Looks like Jodi was right!
And that move I just did,
That was prety tight!

[Jodi]

Jodi cringed at Cori's very out of whack lingo (and then cringed at herself for thinking the word whack.)

Ignore the chick
She knows not her words
Let's attempt some rhythym
Before someone gets hurt!

[Max]

Max rolled his eyes, and even that seemed rhythmic!

I think I'll go park some more cars
Or maybe just chill outside
Singing is something I know I can do
But dancing is not something I've tried...

[Jodi]

Jodi pouted, grabbing the boys arm.

But Maxie, you promised you gotta help out
We're making this club like our dream!
If you're a good boy I'll give you a kiss!
Uh...wait...that's not what I mean...

[Max]

Max knew his skin was shining the same shade of red that hers was. It was even worse knowing that they were the center of attention for everyone in the room, people dancing in singing generally were.

Don't worry about the mis-speak Jods
I'm sure I catch your drift
But this is all too much for me
I think I've gotta quit
You know how I've been getting by
Just sticking with the crowd
Now that I'm in the spotlight
I fear it's much too loud
