"I demand to see my lawyer," Cori yelled at the top of her lungs. She saw the warden entering the hall, about time. "Who is responsible for this unseemly racket."
"I am sir," Cori announced. "Your guard just broke my arm, my friend here knocked him out to help me. What kind of prision are you running here? She and I are innocent! I'm sure countless others here are too. This denies our constitutional right not to be held if I have comitted no wrong doing. If you dont let me and my friend here go to the doctor immediatly and then leave my father will be forced to sue this prision under Section 463 of the penal code paragraph 3."

Jodi decided to keep her mouth shut through this ordeal. That was usually a pretty good idea from her stand point. It was hard not to laugh when she said the line about the two of them being innocent though.

Cori and Jodi were now sitting in the prision hospital. The Doctor said that Cori's arm was completely shattered and would take several months to heal then had wrapped up the aflicted arm and left the girls.
"Well I guess this is where we wait till somone comes to get us," Cori said. "Oh but you're in college so you can go ahead and leave if you like."

"Are you kidding? I can't drive. Besides, I'm supposed to be going to this super cool Halloween party tonight, I think I could try and get ahold of my ride, do you need a lift?" Jodi said, pretty sure she was talking fast enough to terrify the girl.
(Okay, this one took so long to get going that I think this is what we were doing. If not just let me know and I'll change the post.)

Cori frowned. "Halloween party? Well I guess that it would be ok, I've never been to a party before." Cori looked at the shocked expresion on Jodi's face, "What it's true!"

Jodi couldn't help but snicker. "Sorry Cor, but I can't make any assumptions since I just met you and all, but are you, like, a nerd or something?" Jodi tried her best to sound gracious as she said it, because come on! Nerds are cool too, but she couldn't help but feel a little bit akward seeing as how she was always one of the popular girls.

Cori frowned a little bit, "I guess you could say that. A Nerd who's lived on the street most of her life." She smiled at Jodi and pushed her hair out of her face, "The only problem with the 'party plan' is that I dont have a costume."

Jodi looked for a second before the idea dawned on her. "Okay, I've got it." She pulled off one of the tacky light blue curtains from the prisons window and began tearing it at the middle. She tied it around the girl in two places. "Perfect, you look just like our friend Nani, she visits the HoM on occasion."
Jodi paused again. "Would you mind if I dressed as you?"

Still a little confused about being dressed in a curtan, Cori nodded her consent. She offered Jodi the tweed jacket and brown pants she had been wearing when arrested. "I need to call my dad and tell him the new plan."

"Well if Nick will be there I can ask Dr. Szalinski to give me a ride home."

"Ok. Say hi to Figment and Dreamfinder for me!"
Cori turned back to Jodi, "Shall we?" she asked as she pulled the door open
