Cori grabbed Jodi from where they had been standing and almost slammed her against a wall. "Get a grip! Yes, we are currently surrounded by dead people. No, I dont know how to get us out but there has to be something!!!!!"

"Right, that's what the brainy girl always says in the movie," Jodi said in a sort of hiss, no calmness at all. "BEFORE THEY GET KILLED!"

"We are NOT going to die if you get a grip," Cori shot back. "I need to know if you read the book you got me for my last birthday."

Jodi couldn't even begin to make words from how hard she was laughing. She nearly collapsed to the ground. "You've...got...to...be...kidding...me..."

Cori sighed and pulled Jodi up right, "I knew it was a long shot. But that book could be the only way for us to get out of here."

Cori nodded, "So it would seem. Listen, you stay here and dance or do whatever it is you do and I'll go look for clues as to what's going on here."

"Stay here!" Jodi hissed. "Stay here and what? Die? Be eaten? We don't know that these aren't cannibal ghosts!"

Cori rolled her eyes, there wasnt enough time to argue the existence of cannibal ghosts right now. "Fine come with me," she said, "we need to do some investigateing come on." Cori slipped out the door and down the hall trying every doorknob she could find all of them were locked except the one leading into a room she would definatly enjoy, the Library. She quickly beconed Jodi inside and shut the door behind them.

"Jeez, I always thought he was just a honey. Didn't think he was a zombie," Jodi said, pacing around the room, running her hands over all the little trinkets. Ignoring the possibility of breaking anything or triggering anything.

Cori screamed as the bookshelf she had been searching through have a shudder then shrank into the wall revealing a secret passage. When she had a moment to catch her breath the blonde whirled around to face the other girl, "Jodi what did you just do?"

Jodi was very bravely hugging a statue of someone's face which had bent a little ways forward. "I'm not sure, but something tells me it was NOT good..."

Cori leaned into the secret passage and looked around. "Either not good or the best news all night," Cori said, "Usually the creepy tunnel leads to answers or some sort of scary monster." When she caught sight of Jodi's expression she almost laughed, "What, I have to pick up something from all those scary movies you and Crawl make me watch."

"Good to know..." Jodi said with wide eyes. "And if those scary movies have taught ME anything, it's that you should go first. The level headed brainy kid very rarely dies. But the hot yet slightly naive and arrogant one always goes...graphically."

Cori shrugged, "Point taken. Hand me that lamp." Carefully the girl took the antique and lit it, noticeing how it flickered slightly. Never a good sign she thought to herself and stepped inside the tunnel. "Well come on, we dont have all night."
