The Masqurade Ball: Cori's Adventure

[Cori]

Cori heard Jodi casually chating with Gracy and smiled, the girl had such a talent for improvisation and being cool that she could handel any situaton thown at her. The blonde turned around and headed up the spiral staircase behind her.

This is the worst party I've ever been too, Cori thought to herself as she walked down a hall hardly noticeing that pictures were changeing as she walked by them. Admitely she hadn't been to many parties in her life but this was the absolute worst by far.

She opened a door and went through, this room was quite odd, it was a perfect octagon with pictures on the walls and no other door. She turned to leave when a gust of wind slammed the door shut and blew out the light. Desperatly she fumbled in her pockets and found the matches she had taken from the library and relight the latern.

Oh no. The door that Cori had planed to exit through was gone, in fact there were no doors anywhere, and the room was streching. The pictures were elongating to reveal rather horrifing scenes of peoples death. How on earth am I going to get out of here?

[Emma and Ezra]

Emma had quietly slipped away from the party looking for the two mortals who had convieniently vanished earlyer that night. Her husband Ezra was following close behind her muttering darkly about how she shouldnt interfere.
"These girls are in trouble," she scolded him as she reached a wall leading to the room Cori was in.
"Better them than us," Ezra mumbled.
Emma glared at her husband and walked through the wall and into the room, with a sigh Ezra followed convinced that this would not go well.

[Madame Leota]

"Hey!" Leota shouted from across the hall as she felt the presence of two housemates. "Hey! Somebody, in here!"
"The dark of night, the deed be done
To make 1000 he only needs two then one
An intellect, a ditzy fool
All he takes to revive his ghoul!"

[Cori]

Cori stared in horror as two people dressed in sevants clothes walked through a wall. This denyed all the laws of physics, it made no sence and she was a logical person. So she did the only thing a logical person would do when confronted with two ghosts, she screamed.

[Emma and Ezra]

Emma jumped back in alarm when the girl shreaked, "Perhaps coming in through the wall wasnt the best idea," she admited to her husband.
Ezra had covered his ears and was glareing at Emma, "That might be an understatement."
The maid leaned over the girl, "Dont worry dear we wont hurt you."

[Cori]

Cori looked up at the two servants and almost cried, Jodi was right she was about to be eaten by cannibal ghosts. "Look I dont want any trouble," she sobbed, "I'm just trying to get out of here. Besides you cant eat me, I'm not a ghost!"

[Emma and Ezra]

"Eat you," Ezra repeated in disgust, "Dont be silly."
"No one is going to eat you," Emma told the girl calmly as she pulled out a hankerchief and wiped the mortals tears, "and we are going to help you get out of here."

[Cori]

Now recovering from her panic Cori was in a slightly more agile frame of mind and as such able to form sentences without any confusion. "How," she asked, "I'm still not a ghost and unless the laws of physics have changed then I cant walk through walls."
