Jodi heard everything going on, the conversation, the worry in his voice. If only he knew that was the same thing going through her mind! She mentally cringed and tried to curl up closer to him, although any closer and she'd be in his lap!

Max stopped talking for a moment, waiting for the girl to get settled. "I guess what I'm trying to say is," Max whispered to the girl, much much quieter. "I'm afraid we're showing up too late. I have to be one of those seven!"

Bradley chuckled from his chair a few seats back, his face was hidden behind a newspaper so the group wouldn't see him there, however were any of them to turn around his expensive black pants with a red stripe up the side would've given the gamma away. But this was a serious moment she lectured herself, no time to be giddy. She quickly got her bearings and supported the sleepy Jodi toward the luggage claim. "Come on Jods," she sighed.

It always annoyed her when people were happy to be in England, it never dawned on her that most people weren't forced to visit almost every holiday and then the random Saturday as well for thirteen years (before she ran away.) "Hurry it up guys, let's get this over with..."
