Romantic Type Thing

[Jodi]

Jodi walked circles throughout the room. She was pretty sure that she had worn a hole in the carpet at this point. She was very excited about her date which should be getting there any second. Jodi sighed and layed down on the couch.
He wasn't late or anything, nothing like that. There was still 10 minutes before he landed in the late catergory. It was just Jodi's anticipation that was getting to her. Why did I do this, why did I do this. She thought over and over again.
Suddenly the doorbell rang. Jodi jumped over the back of her couch and fell to the floor...hard...not at all pleasant. She straightened herself up and answered the door.
"Hi..."

[Max]

"Hey," was all he could get out. Suddenly he remembered the flowers he was holding in his hands (yellow roses, very hard to find.) "Oh, um, I, uh, got you these." He pushed the flowers into the girl, knocking her down. He hit himself on the head and leaned down to help her up. "Uh, sorry..."

[Jodi]

Jodi shook her head and grabbed his hand to pull herself up. "No no, it's fine." She stood and wiped some invisible dirt from her good jeans. "Besides, I probably would've fallen at some other point of the date anyway. Now we can just not worry about that."

[Max]

Max breathed a sigh of relief before he grabbed her arm. "I'll help make sure that doesn't happen." Max led Jodi from the house and watched her lock the door before they went out to his car. *If you've seen the HoM eppy about Max's New Car you'll know what I'm talking about*
"So where would you like to go on..." Max gulped once before finishing his statement. "Our big date..."

[Jodi]

Was that a gulp? Jodi thought frantically. Oh I knew it! He doesn't want to be here. He didn't want to ask me out, it was everybody else's idea.
Jodi sighed and looked across the car at the boy, he looked absolutely shaken by nerves. "Um, I don't care. Anywhere you want to go I guess."

[Max]

Oh no, she's not having a good time, I'm an awful date... Max thought. He could feel his hands shaking against the wheel of the car. Cool it man, she's going to see you freaking and your going to ruin the whole date!
"Um, I guess we could go and eat somewhere...is there any resteraunt or anything that you're fond of?''

[Jodi]

Jodi leaned back in her seat. "Look, Max, if you didn't want to go out with me you didn't have to ask." She said, breaking the awkward tension in the car. "I'd understand, no one else really wants to either."
Even though you are the one that I wanted to be here with.

[Max]

"No!" Max said quickly. "I-i-I really want to be here. I'm just nervous since it's you and all and I didn't want to totally screw everything up and..." Max stopped himself. He was rambling again, just like he always did around the girl.
"I really like you, Jodi, and I don't want to screw this date up."

[Jodi]

Jodi smiled. "Same here, I really wanted to be here with you to. Now let's get to the resteraunt."

[Max]

"But you still haven't picked a resteraunt," Max said quirkily.

[Jodi]

Jodi thought for a second before an idea popped into her head. "You know, I think I'm in the mood for pizza, you can never go wrong with pizza."

[Max]

"I wouldn't jump to such a quick conclusion there, Jod's. I seem to remember many a pizza related injury the last time the whole group went." Max thought back to the day, it was rather amusing. Bobby ended up burning his cheek and Jodi had gotten a chair stuck around her middle, the fire department had to get her out.

[Jodi]

Jodi rolled her eyes and leaned back on the chair. "I knew you would bring that up," she leaned in to the boy until their noses were almost touching. "But you don't have to worry, this time it's just you and me..."

[Max]

Max nearly choked when the girl did that, but instead it gave him an idea. He leaned in the same amount and saw the girls eyes widen. "Somehow that thought worries me more..."

[Jodi]

"Uh, um, uh," Jodi said as she stared into his eyes. It was quite obvious she had not been expecting that to happen. "Uh, maybe we should, uh..."
